Aaza Books Refund, Return & Replacement Policy
At Aaza Books, we strive to provide quality books at affordable prices. However, if you receive a damaged or incorrect book, we have a Return/Replacement/Refund policy under the following conditions.
Eligibility for Return, Replacement, or Refund
Our policy is applicable only if the books are damaged or there is a wrong/missing book in the order.
Customers must record a video while unpacking the order. This unboxing video is mandatory for any return, replacement, or refund request.
The request must be raised within 3 days of delivery. No claims will be accepted after this period.
What Qualifies for Return/Replacement/Refund?
We accept requests under these conditions:
✔ Severe spine damage causing pages to come apart.
✔ Transit damage (except minor dents, corner bends, or cover scratches).
✔ Printing issues (more than 3 pages misprinted).
✔ Physical damage (more than 3 pages torn or missing).
✔ Unreadable smudges (must affect more than 3 pages).
✔ Wrong book delivered or missing book in the order.
Important:
For book sets like Harry Potter/Lord of the Rings, outer box damage is not covered under this policy.
No return, refund, or replacement for Mystery Boxes.
Return/Replacement Process
1. Email us at aazabookstore@gmail.com within 3 days of delivery with the unpacking video and details of the issue.
2. Processing Time: 7-14 days.
3. Pickup & Shipping: Our courier partner will collect the returned book from your doorstep. Return shipping is free.
Refund Process
For prepaid orders: Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method.
For COD orders: Refunds will be processed via UPI/Bank Transfer in the customer's name. Customers may be contacted for UPI details via email/SMS/call.
If the courier returns the package due to delivery failure, the full amount is refunded.
If the customer refuses the package or provides incorrect details (phone number/pincode), the refund will be issued after deducting shipping charges.
Order Cancellations
Before shipment: If the order hasn’t been processed, we will cancel it and refund the full amount.
After shipment: Cancellations are not allowed. If a cancellation request is made after shipment, the refund will be issued after deducting the shipping charges of the product.
Cancellations by Aaza Books
In some cases, we may cancel orders and issue a full refund due to:
1. Stock unavailability of the latest edition.
2. Book received in a damaged condition before dispatch.
3. Delivery issues in the customer’s location (e.g., lockdown, strikes).
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund:
1. Check your bank account statement.
2. Check your Razorpay confirmation email for refund status.
3. If the issue persists, contact us at aazabookstore@gmail.com.
Aaza Books reserves the right to determine the compensation method. If the issue is genuine, refunds will be processed immediately.
